Our joint work with the Museo Roca – Institute of Historical Research continues. This week the first pieces from the Nocedal Collection were collected and packed for the exhibition "Everyday life in Buenos Aires at the turn of the century" (1880–1914).
The exhibition is funded by the Fundación Williams' Ensayar Museos programme and explores the objects that shaped daily life in the city during a period of great change.
Before the move, both teams carried out a joint survey and inventory of every piece. That record guarantees the traceability of each object throughout the loan and its return to the collection, which now holds more than 10,000 pieces in conservation.
